Bingo and Sturzi became friends in prison and have big plans. After their release, they both want to turn their backs on a life of crime and emigrate to Brazil. When Sturzi is released from prison six months after Bingo, he discovers that his friend is still broke and even has criminal plans again. Sturzi, who has grown older and wiser in prison, is deeply disappointed, but wants to generously pay for the plane tickets out of his small fortune. His guardian disagrees: Sturzi is to go to a men's shelter and pay off his debts first. When he witnesses how amateurishly Bingo and his buddy Schorschi are planning a bank robbery, the old professional in Sturzi awakens.

Two policemen are stationed on Amrum, a North Sea island on the West coast of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany’ – an elder, and one who is several decades his junior. Life is easy, just that the junior can’t find a wife, because no young woman seems to be interested in the peaceful life on the island. All of a sudden, a wounded lady who turns out to be one of two bodyguard for a threatened witness who lives in hiding on Amrum, bursts into the police station and seeks help from the two officers. I missed some bits of the plot, but somehow, the second one of the bodyguards hiding the witness on the island has been killed already, and the second one, seeking help from the local police, was wounded in the incidence, and then she apparently succumbs, too.

In the new film adaptation of Johanna Spyri's popular children's book, Heidi is sent to live for a short time with her eccentric grandfather, the "Alpöhi", who lives alone above the village and initially wants nothing to do with his granddaughter. Heidi's friend Peter, the baseball-playing son of an engineer from Boston, helps her out and shows her how to write e-mails. A little later, Heidi has to go to her aunt Dete in Berlin. Her grumpy daughter Clara, a lonely city girl, dyes Heidi's hair blue and not only causes the bath to overflow, but also Heidi's patience. Heidi wants to go back to her grandfather. Doris, a girl from a Berlin internet café, and 327.80 marks bring this dream within reach.

Switzerland, 1955. The young orphan Max is sent as a foster child and contracted to work for the Bösiger family who lives on a farm. His foster parents treat him like a workhorse while their son seizes every opportunity to humiliate him. Playing the accordion is the one thing that is entirely his. But when the new teacher stands up for Max, it only makes a bad situation much worse. The only thing preserving his will to survive is his friendship with Berteli, who was also taken on to work at the farm. Max dreams of Argentina with her: a fantasy world, where allegedly even hayforks are made of silver.

Dr. Joachim Glahn is the presiding judge at the Berlin district court and is known for his explicit sense of justice and truth. In the end Serge decides to fulfil his own secret longings to be on the stage. This leads to a row between the two men. Despite a reconciliation, they never again appear together on the stage. And when Serge's embezzlement is discovered he has to flee with the police at his heels and the home has to be closes. In the end, Roni persuades Mr. Klein, an eccentric old man who likes to play the stock market, to save the home with the millions he has stashed away.

During demolition work in a village in northern Germany, a cemented-in corpse is discovered in the wall of a building. The autopsy leads the pathologist to conclude that the man suffocated in the cement. The identity of the dead man comes as a surprise to the two detectives on the scene: it is Michael Lehmann, who has been missing for 16 years. He was suspected of having sexually abused and murdered a nine-year-old boy from the village.

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.
