The twinkle of Frank Sinatra's "Ol' Blue Eyes" melds with the beauty of ballet in this innovative program starring world-renowned dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and members of the American Ballet Theatre. Choreographed by the legendary Twyla Tharp, three performances -- "The Little Ballet," "Sinatra Suite" and "Push Comes to Shove" -- bring Baryshnikov's terpsichorean talents center stage and rekindle Sinatra's magic.

Zorns Lemma is a 1970 American structuralist film by Hollis Frampton. It is named after Zorn's lemma (also known as the Kuratowski–Zorn lemma), a proposition of set theory formulated by mathematician Max Zorn in 1935. Zorns Lemma is prefaced with a reading from an early grammar textbook. The remainder of the film, largely silent, shows the viewer an evolving 24-part "alphabet" (where i & j and u & v are interchanged) which is cycled through, replaced and expanded upon. The film's conclusion shows a man, woman and dog walking through snow as several voices read passages from On Light, or the Ingression of Forms by Robert Grosseteste.

Matt Hobbs is a talented but unsuccessful actor. When estranged (and strange) ex-wife Beth dumps their daughter Jeannie on Matt, father and daughter have a lot of adjusting to do. His budding relationship with attractive production assistant Cathy Breslow is made complicated, while the precocious child is overly accustomed to getting her own way. Matt eventually faces the choice of family vs career in a particularly difficult way.

In this "fourteen-part drill for the camera," Frampton created a portrait gallery of his art-world friends engaging in a variety of ordinary activities.

In the Upper Room is a dance/theater collaboration between choreographer Twyla Tharp and composer Philip Glass. In the Upper Room from 1986, with music by Phillip Glass, choreography by Twyla Tharp. It's really impossible to convey in words just how brilliant this 40 minute piece is.
