Life of Sin

Shortly before graduating from medical school, Mariana returns home to fulfill her father's promise to celebrate the greatest wedding ever in the history of Castañer. Complications arise when the bride's and the groom's families come together for the wedding preparations and festivities.

Azucena is a saucy maid whose personality causes many comical situations. These will increase when the family she works for hosts a recently widowed millionaire returning to Puerto Rico after many years.

Professional gambler Dan Crown arrives in San Juan to visit his brother Alex, only to learn from the police that Alex has been found murdered. To Captain Acosta's questioning, Dan answers that he had no knowledge of his brother's affairs. Dan then finds Gina Rosario searching his hotel room, and together they begin to investigate Alex's death.

In a New York hospital, a man is cured of heroin addiction after a grueling three-month treatment. Although no longer an addict, he has complete amnesia: the only clues to his past are an expensive ring he was wearing when admitted, and a book of matches from a Puerto Rican nightclub. He pawns the ring and buys clandestine passage on a boat to Puerto Rico in search of his identity.

Bored with day-to-day life in New York City and neglected by her husband, a young wife and mother slips into increasingly outrageous fantasies: her mother breaking into the apartment, an explorer's demonstration of tribal fertility music at a party causing strange transformations, and joining terrorists to plant explosives in the Statue of Liberty.

A widower arrives in Puerto Rico with his son Angelito. The father dies and the boy goes to live with his grandfather who plays guitar in the streets. Angelito accompanies him singing and earns good money, but a political uncle accuses the grandfather of exploiting the boy and takes him to an orphanage.

Businessman Carlos meets Ana María in a Mexico City nightclub. He escorts her home, and makes a date for the next day. Ana María is actually a prostitute whose pimp, Arturo, thinks Carlos would be a good client, and urges her to be nice to him. They fall in love, and Carlos proposes marriage to her, indicating he must return to Puerto Rico soon.

A hit man hijacks a boat — and the married couple aboard — in order to carry out a contract on a dictator in the Caribbean.

Henry is an introverted young artist who, seeking to escape the banality and violence of urban life, begins to blur the distinction between fantasy and reality.

Pedro and Isabel disagree on the number of children they'll have when they get married. By contrasting the bustle of the city life with the more traditional agrarian life, the film provides an examination of several attitudes toward family planning.

Adaptation from Enrique A. Laguerre's novel "La llamarada". It depicts the struggles of Puerto Rican peons in the sugar cane fields during the 1930's.

Carlos is an ex-con looking for a job where he earns a lot of money without having to work hard. After discussing it with his cellmate, they conclude that the only work to fit the description is to be politician in Puerto Rico. Carlos decides to run for Governor, like every politician always seeking for the best for his country, and of course, looking for what's best for him.

A small town celebrates the triumph of their revolution. Under the euphoria of the moment, the town's founder is declared a traitor and the destruction of his statue is decided by the people. A journalist buys the statue before it is destroyed. Later, the townspeople discover that the statue isn't from who they thought it was and they decide to retrieve it. The journalist, however, doesn't want to give it back, giving rise to the dilemma.

After spending 5 years in Hollywood, California, Carlos has go back to his home in Puerto Rico to make his first feature film.

It's December, but the people of San Juan aren’t feeling the Christmas spirit. A serial killer has snuffed the life out of some of the most renowned bachelors. A doctor, a dentist, a social columnist and a university professor are the most recent victims of the "The Angel of the Bachelors", a handsome young man who captivates closet homosexuals and stabs them to death following a sexual encounter with them.
