Sitjenotfisket has existed for 150 years and is an exciting and unique way to fish salmon. Brothers Terry and Rolf Sims is a third generation salmon fishermen and still uses two months every summer to fish for salmon in giljo.

For a year, we follow the life of two farms, with calving, slaughter, dung spread and production of traditional food. We join in an entertaining journey into the realities of life, and get an insight into a disappearing culture.

Haakon Sandberg made 11 annual cavalcades from year 1960 to 1992. He filmed small and great events in Bergen, intertwining them with historical archive footage of the city. The films contain unique footage of Bergen from 1916 to 1992, created with artistic intention. Øyvind Sandberg made a 23-minute film portrait of his parents, specifically Haakon, at the end of this DVD collection.
