Martti Vaara, secondary school graduate gets monetary help from his rich uncle under the pretense to get married and have kids. When the uncle unexpectedly arrives to look at the little one, Martti persuades his friends to get involved on the hoax.

Servant Eeva promises to marry her childhood friend, tailor Aapeli, via letter, but withdraws after meeting the man. Though mostly preserved, the film is partially lost.

A mysterious traveler encounters Dr. Mirjami and Inga on the road. They lure the young man to a boarding house, where their husbands already live, along with the poet Annikki, the boarding house landlady Mrs. Soisalo, and her lover Einar. All four women feel attracted to the traveler, who begins to receive anonymous love letters.

A couple move to an isolated house where – according to local legend – an ancient curse is rumoured to assail its inhabitants. Based on the novel by Väino Kataja (1914).

Olli, the spoiled young heir of the Koivumäki manor, is separated from his family and brought to Sweden by his cousin. After running away to Finland, he ends up in an educational institution, from where he escapes with the help of his friend Ränni Pelle and returns to his parents.

No prints of the film have been preserved so the film can be considered a lost film. The original screenplay has also been lost. However, some plot descriptions are still known based on contemporary newspaper advertisements of the film. As the name would indicate, the film tells about two local men who are making moonshine in the woods. A customer comes to them, and while sampling the product they start a game of cards, which eventually leads to a fight. While the fight is going on, the local police shows up and arrests the makers while the customer manages to escape.(Wikipedia)
