In the early 20th century, the Montes de Oca family—comprising two sisters and a cousin—finds itself entangled in an intense love triangle. Upon discovering this, Rodrigo accuses the fisherman of theft, leading to his arrest. The lovestruck cousin’s malice knows no bounds; learning that Branca Flor is carrying the fisherman's child, he waits for the baby to be born so he can make it disappear.

Porque el Amor Manda is a 2012 Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa. It is a remake of the Colombian telenovela El secretario, produced by Juan Andrés Flórez in 2011. Fernando Colunga and Blanca Soto star as the protagonists Claudia Álvarez stars as the antagonist.

Si Dios Me Quita La Vida is a telenovela made by Mexican TV network Televisa. This telenovela was broadcast in 1995. This is a remake of the 1961 telenovela La Leona starred by Amparo Rivelles and Ernesto Alonso.
