Victor and Elena are newlyweds and lead a busy social life. While Victor is cultured and quiet, Elena is beautiful, brilliant and restless, constantly criticized by her mother, also named Elena, who is very refined, correct and bourgeois. The three of them will be involved in a rather ambiguous and at the same time terribly moving moment in their lives.

In the early 20th century, the Montes de Oca family—comprising two sisters and a cousin—finds itself entangled in an intense love triangle. Matilde is in love with her cousin Rodrigo, who loves the other sister, Branca Flor; she, in turn, loves a humble fisherman. Upon discovering this, Rodrigo accuses the fisherman of theft, leading to his arrest. The lovestruck cousin’s malice knows no bounds; learning that Branca Flor is carrying the fisherman's child, he waits for the baby to be born so he can make it disappear.

On October 2, 1968, a student uprising descends into violence after the Mexican government begins to use lethal force against the protesters.

Porque el Amor Manda is a 2012 Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa. It is a remake of the Colombian telenovela El secretario, produced by Juan Andrés Flórez in 2011. Fernando Colunga and Blanca Soto star as the protagonists Claudia Álvarez stars as the antagonist.

Fernando Lascurain is a wealthy businessman and recent widower, attempting to raise his seven unruly children. He seeks the assistance of a new nanny. He hires and falls in love with Ana Leal, a struggling exotic dancer who tries to hide her double life. Although Ana lacks experience and a refined education, she quickly bonds with the Lascurain children. When Fernando simultaneously falls for Ana and Isabela, an economist and sophisticated woman who is trained by her mother to marry a millionaire, he must choose between both women.

Si Dios Me Quita La Vida is a telenovela made by Mexican TV network Televisa. This telenovela was broadcast in 1995. This is a remake of the 1961 telenovela La Leona starred by Amparo Rivelles and Ernesto Alonso.

Paulino Córdoba, Gabino Roura, Rodolfo Huerta, and Matías Quiroga have been friends since childhood; however, as adults, their priorities shifted, and a sin now threatens to destroy their friendship. Paulino owns the El Milagro apple hacienda and is married to Rosario; they have two children, César and Lucrecia. Rosario has always favored her son while openly rejecting her daughter. Lucrecia was raised by Delfina, Rosario’s maid and Manuel’s mother.

Jory is a fifteen-year-old boy who joins a horse-drive after his father is killed by a drunkard. The drive's leader and a likable cowhand take the boy under their wing, and find that tragedy has taught him how to take care of himself better than anyone could expect.
