It's 1914 in Mexico and Tom Kenyon is trying to safely transport a load of silver. General Barranca who is battling Panch Villa wants the silver. Villa's Captain is secretely working for Barranca and he convinces Villa that Tom is one of Barranca'a men and should be shot. The pleading of Tom's mother helps Tom and Villa become friends and he is released. But when Tom returns Villa is not there and the Captain orders his immediate execution.

The attractive Argentine Don Careless is an adventurer and an excellent swordsman. Don is in love with Maria Moreno, since he had to emerge her jewels and had thereby to kill a shark. En route Frankie is mistaken for the wife of the well-known pilot Johnny Pearson and ends up in his suite having to pretend she is his spouse. When the pilot meets her, romantic sparks fly.

The show centered around Chuck Martin (Kenneth Tobey) and Pete (P.T.) Moore (Craig Hill), owners of 'Whirlybirds, Inc', who flew their helicopter (N975B) between Longwood Field and anywhere where they could be of help to someone in trouble.
