A collection of short films, interviews and concert footage of the '60s rock band The Doors. Includes three basic video segments: Dance on Fire, Live at the Hollywood Bowl and The Soft Parade. Each of the videos is directed by Ray Manzarek. The "extras" include Ray's two UCLA student films.

This historical music video features as its centrepiece The Doors' last televised appearance, aired on PBS in 1969.

This film would later become part of The Doors 30th Anniversary Collection (released in 1999 and 2001) which compiles three films previously released by MCA/Universal Home Video: Dance on Fire (1985), Live at the Hollywood Bowl (1987) and The Soft Parade: A Retrospective (1991).

Filmed during their 1968 European tour, The Doors are captured in performances in London, Stockholm, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. Paul Kantner and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, who shared the bill with The Doors on this tour, narrate this compilation.

A concert video that captures legendary rock 'n' roll band The Doors at the height of the group's powers. The Blu-ray disc that accompanies the expanded version of THE SINGLES features a high-resolution Quadraphonic mix of The Best Of The Doors. This 11-song compilation, available on Blu-ray for the first time, was remixed specifically for Quad in 1973 and offers a unique sonic experience on songs like “Soul Kitchen,” “Moonlight Drive” and “Love Me Two Times.”

Both The Doors and Led Zeppelin were influential bands in their own right, and their impact on music history is significant. The Doors, with their poetic lyrics and unique sound, are often credited with helping to define the psychedelic rock genre.
