The story is about a mother named Puspa, who is willing to sacrifice everything for the happiness of her only child, Riana. With great patience, Puspa endures a life of suffering—putting up with hunger, pain, and various hardships—to ensure her child can grow up well. However, her sincere love is repaid with Riana’s ingratitude. Although she was often hurt, Puspa never stopped praying for her daughter until the very end of her life in the cardiac ICU. As she neared her final moments, a great secret regarding Puspa’s life-and-death struggle while carrying and raising Riana was finally revealed through Budhe Tun, Puspa’s older sister.
