A husband and wife live a life full of affection and care. The wife's work commitments cause the husband to become unfaithful with another woman and is subsequently diagnosed with HIV. The wife is disappointed by the situation, especially when her boss confesses his feelings for her at the same time. Aulia loves her husband, Muslim, deeply. Especially with Muslim's attitude towards her, which is very romantic and he is always talking about love. Muslim often creates romantic surprises for his wife. Meanwhile, Rahmat, who is Aulia's boss, always gives her a lot of work, forcing her to come home late. Suddenly one day they are shocked when Muslim is involved in a car accident and is admitted to the ICU in a comatose state. Aulia requests a month's leave but Rahmat does not permit it. Aulia's feelings become mixed with anger and she hopes for her boss's consideration. Rahmat begins to treat Aulia well because he has actually fallen in love with her.

# Translation: It begins with Pornthaliwat who has just been released from prison and is welcomed by Al Buqerk. Pornthaliwat asks about Bidin but until now, Al Buqerk has been unsuccessful in tracking down Bidin. They are kidnapped by Khunna, their leader. Khunna demands his money back and shoots Pornthaliwat dead to threaten Al Buqerk. Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur, Bidin is still working at Red Garage which has now been taken over by Aidil's younger brother, Aidid, after Aidil migrated to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of meeting Paul Senior. Bidin plans to visit Cherry, a Thai girl, and her family in Hatyai to get to know her better before proposing to his love. Bidin invites Eddie to accompany him but Eddie cannot join Bidin as there are some matters he needs to settle in Kuala Lumpur. Bidin finally travels to Hat Yai alone by riding his beloved motorcycle, Aprilla RSV4. However, on the way there, Bidin encounters Al Buqerk who is tracking him down.

'The Hantus' is produced in five interconnected chapters. 1. The First Chapter tells the story of an individual born deaf and mute, 'Din Pekak'. He works as an express bus driver and was involved in a terrible accident while transporting passengers from Genting Highlands via the Karak Highway. The accident resulted in all passengers, including the driver, being killed at the scene except for Fami (played by Alif Satar). Fami 'woke up' covered in blood and climbed a hill towards the main road to seek help. 2. The Second Chapter features the story of 'Abang Volkswagen Kuning' (Yellow Volkswagen Brother), inspired by a mystery tale said to often trouble highway users traveling on the Karak Highway. Fami, who was involved in the accident moments earlier, waved and screamed for help from cars passing on the highway, but none stopped to assist. Until a yellow Volkswagen stopped on the roadside and approached Fami.
