Olga, Teresa and Pilar have been friends since they were born. For years they vacationed together with their parents, and later together on their own. A few years ago, Teresa got married, and for some years they didn't see each other as much. Teresa's divorce prompts a reunion, so the three of them rent a small house for the weekend. In their first day together, it becomes obvious that everything they share is in their past. They have grown apart.

Gastón (Jorge Temponi) is very attached to technology and is still in love with an ex-girlfriend who left him. He inherits an old house from his grandfather far from the city and must travel there accompanied by Américo (Carlos Frasca), a clerk somewhat depressed by his old age. The driver and owner of the truck in which they travel is Beto (Jorge Esmoris), a carrier with a somewhat murky past. The place where they are going was visited by the English naturalist Charles Darwin in 1833, where he collected fundamental information to later develop the theory of evolution.

Juan's life gives an unexpected twist when the laboratory for which he works announces his dismissal. Faced with the difficult economic situation of the country migrates from Montevideo to Barcelona. There he meets Mariano, an Argentine friend of the fanfare that dreams with Hollywood while cleaning tables and Julia, a young student who works as a waitress. Thanks to them, he manages to get integrated in the city and to see nearer the dream of bringing together his family. But Juan will soon discover that what he wants is, closer to him than he could ever have imagined.

It discovers the crowd while it transgresses and experiences catharsis, while it seeks miracles and hopes; in continuous movement it splits and rejoins... until they dissipate and individuals re-emerge in their own solitude.

Miguel Ángel García Mazziotti, a Río de la Plata's decadent showbiz gay figure, receives the visit of his daughter Virginia, of whom he has been distanced for years. "The Fat", as everybody calls him in Punta del Este, openly rejects her visit, but when realizes will become a grandfather he can't help getting thrilled and celebrate Virginia's happiness. His new boss advises him to take an assertiveness course to overcome his shyness, and Norberto starts taking classes in an acting workshop for beginners. While he works toward the quarterly festival, Norberto fails to get his wife and clients to believe anything he says, but he finds out he is very good at lying to himself.

Conflict arises when it is revealed that not everyone is who they present themselves to be. Two young people learn about love as politics turn their world upside down in this drama from director Ana Diez. After a long and successful career as a soccer player, Xavi retires from the game and moves to Spain, where one day to his surprise he happens upon Rosana, a friend from his childhood in Uruguay. As Xavi and Rosana catch up on what has happened to them over the past thirty years, they flash back to 1973, when young Xavi and his father Manuel, a shoemaker, lived down the street from Rosana.

Between 1950 and 1952, the Uruguayan essayist, critic and writer José Pedro Díaz created a film diary with images that display a range of diverse interests: social observation, the portrait of the artistic-intellectual community in Europe and a look at domestic cinema from travels, portraying his wife, the poet Amanda Berenguer. As a perfect complement he also had a literary diary. Both form a unique testimonial chronicle: how to read the script and see what was filmed. This documentary deals with that lesser-known area of Díaz's work.
