South Keltma may seem an ordinary river from the first sight, but it's meaning is huge. Keltma connects the White Sea with the Caspian sea, north and south!

Reindeers and Northern indigenous nations of Russia such as nenets, mansi and khanty are inextricably connected. Reindeer has earned the people's trust. This beautiful and clever animal in mountains, taiga and tundra first of all is a friend, companion and assistant for an indigenous man.

When spring melts ice on the rivers and air is full of whistle from bird's wings, here in the north it gets so clear that in bird's world a sense of home, great instinct of procreation and irresistible urge for dear nest are all-powerfull.

The river Unya starts at the western hillside of northern Ural. Unya's wellhead is located near Pechora's wellhead in a place where the Republic of Komi, Sverdlovsk region and Perm Krai come together.

The deer trail led the film crew of Perm television studio to the heart of spring taiga. First spring drops, first bare patches. After a several weeks dawns will be full with birds' polyphony and beauty taiga will thaw, come back to live and smile.

In the mansi nation there's a belief as old as life itself that many centuries ago seven giants were crossing mount range of Ural to destroy Vogulsky people, but when they saw a sacred vogul mountain "Yalpyng-Nyor". Leader of the invaders dropped his drum and stood still forever. Seven high stone columns - all that was left from the enemies. Giants guard the calm of forgotten mountain castle "Moning-Tumi".

In the depths of the Ice mountain Kungur ice cave has hidden. Beauty, greatness and history of the cave's exploration are reflected in names of the grottos: Brilliant, Cosmic, Dante, Ruins, Geologists, Brave, Giant, Polar. But how did such magic as ice diamonds, pearls and silver appear?

There are no highways leading to the heart of Subpolar Urals to the land of tales and legends. It doesn't like to reveal it's secrets to people, it put up oh his boarders stone patrol of mountains and hills, scattered boulders, spilled fast rivers. But those travellers, who had managed to overcome all this obstacles will be rewarded. Nowhere on earth will you find such beautiful nature as in the Subpolar Urals.

Forests of northern Sosva are land of unafraid prey. What an expanse for a hunter! But instead of rifles film crew of Perm television studio will use videocamera and reliable guide. Grouses, capercaillies, ducks and other enviable prey was caught in an objective.

The queen of circumpolar glacial Ural is mountain Sablya. It is the highest peak in Sablino range. Although the whole mount range has bright alpine appearance, however peak Sablya is a real jewel in it, kind of Ural Matterhorn.

Salmon has long been considered the delicacy, but commercial fishing have left this unique fish on the brink of extinction. Problem of saving the population became state care.
