In the mansi nation there's a belief as old as life itself that many centuries ago seven giants were crossing mount range of Ural to destroy Vogulsky people, but when they saw a sacred vogul mountain "Yalpyng-Nyor". The film, shot in the city of Mezen in the Arkhangelsk region, tells about the spiritual culture and traditions of the Pomors, the wooden architecture of Mezen, crafts and the city as a place of exile.
