The hero, rushing from one misfortune to another, is former accountant Řehoř Maršíček, who after a heart attack, out of fear of death, decides to live a calm, moderate life and follow the principles of a healthy lifestyle. Not to smoke, not to drink, to exercise and eat healthily. He takes up the position of an auditor of patients and hopes that he will have peace in his new job. Instead, he experiences one nervous breakdown after another. He gradually makes one good resolution after another. Řehoř falls into unhealthy food, alcohol and women. In addition, he gradually loses most of his life's certainties, including a roof over his head. The result is a second heart attack, after which the hero promises himself again that he will fix everything and live a healthy life.

The whole town will be in attendance. However, the proceedings are dogged by difficulty at every step. Workplace injuries, stolen prizes, a shortage of pretty girls... and fire.

Loves of a Blonde

Andula, an innocent Czech girl from a factory town, is desperately in search of love. She believes she's found it when she beds Milda, a charming young musician visiting from Prague. Milda, however, is only looking for a casual encounter, and leaves town assuming he'll never see Andula again. But when Andula doesn't hear from him, she packs up and heads to Prague, to the surprise of Milda and his parents.

After a few months at the spa, 14-year-old Pavel discovers that his love, his classmate Zuzana, has outgrown him. In addition, she has found a new boy classmate, who is nicknamed Eifelák because of his height. This is a big shock for Pavel and like a proper teenager he is very worried, he invents blood feuds which usually turn against him, in short he is completely distraught. His problems and suffering are understood more by his grandfather than by his busy parents. But the right patch for the wound is found in the form of another girl whom Pavel meets by chance and who is very special...

Hogo Fogo Homolka

The Homolka family celebrates a great occasion: they were finally able to buy a car. They immediately begin to drive for small trips to Hradcany, to the airport, and plan further trips. Their euphoria is spoiled by a letter from their great-grandmother. Their great-grandfather is dying and the family is expected to come along to say goodbye. The annoyed Homolkas therefore set off to the South Bohemian village where the grandparents live.

While the women attend the horse races, the father sits home getting drunk and watching football. The overweight daughter-in-law is upset because she has blown her chances to become a ballerina. All members of the family are caught up in their own individual problems in this realistically portrayed family comedy

It is a high school Czech professor Robert Kilian, suffering from depressive neurasthenia, which manifests itself in a morbid indecision. His biggest problem at the moment is that he doesn't know if he should marry his girlfriend. He soon gets to know the other patients, the treatment regimen and the medical staff...
