Meanwhile, 12-year-old João Vitor is at the height of his fame, reaching millions through his followers. Amidst livestreams and smartphones, he preaches to the masses. The film uncovers the childhoods concealed behind these public personas, reflecting a country in transition — a place where politics and religion frequently intertwine. The documentary delves into the images that shaped the political myth of Jair Bolsonaro, from his earliest YouTube videos to the end of his term in office. Over a series of sleepless nights, a narrator drifts through Bolsonaro’s livestreams, selfies, and speeches, searching for the logic of a form of power forged through and by images. By confronting this visual regime with Brazil’s official iconography, the film explores how power is understood, repeated, and asserted through images, at a time when politics increasingly unfolds on screens.

Fifty years after it was recorded, the footage of the graduation of the first and only class of the Indigenous Rural Guard reappears. In 1970, eighty indigenous marched, in uniform, in the courtyard of a police station, to the leadership of the military dictatorship. Fifty years later, the film seeks out these guards - their bodies, their stories, their memories. Fractures, silences, what remains and what is lost in violent Brazilian history.
