Cecilia Bartolomé: So far, so close

Lis is a teenager whose dream is to become a circus artist and leave her hometown, even if she knows that to do it she’ll have to fight her side against her parents. It’s summer and she spends her days playing with her friends and flirting with her boyfriend, a few years older than herself. The lack of privacy and the neighbours’ gossip force Lis to keep their relationship secret so that her parents won’t find out. A relationship which change her live forever.

Mara visits an old friend who lives in the Sierra de Irta, Vera, who did not expect this visit, is about to go to Valencia to spend the Easter holidays. When Vera leaves, Mara makes a strange and irrational decision: to occupy her friend's house for a few days.

Through perseverance and determination, he eventually reaches the University of Bremen in Germany, where he begins his career as a soloist. After years in Europe, he returns triumphantly to his hometown of Juiz de Fora, giving a recital where his parents see him perform for the first time.

Sara has fallen in love with Iván, a man who is invisible to Sara. Ivan does not reciprocate. Sara becomes obsessed with him instead of taking care of herself.
