Clive Anderson Talks Back: Peter Cook

Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill are back and reviving their much loved characters Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade for the first time in years! They've not been seen on the small screen since a Hogmanay special in January 2008, but this year sees a full reunion of the original television cast as Jack and Victor are reunited alongside other Still Game favourites Winston, Isa, Tam, Navid, and Bobby.

The Australian director is one of the world’s most sought-after opera directors, whose Royal Opera debut with Shostakovich’s The Nose in 2016 was greeted with delight. For Carmen he has devised a far-from-traditional version, incorporating music written by Bizet for the score but not usually heard, and giving a new voice to the opera’s endlessly fascinating central character.

Dave Gorman, a British Comedian, undertakes a challenge set by his flat mate Danny Wallace, to find 54 of his namesakes (1 for every card in the deck, including jokers). The show is presented over a series of six episodes by Dave Gorman himself in what can only be described as a lecture format. The series charts the trials and tribulations that greet Dave as he attempts to complete his task.
