Korean guerrillas fight against the Japanese as the latter try to invade China through Manchuria.

A medical doctor, Ko, has three daughters. The first daughter, Suk-hee, confesses her past when her husband asks her to forgive his past, on the first night of their honeymoon. When he breaks off the marriage and goes to America, Suk-hee confines herself to her home for three years.

Right after Korea's liberation, O Yun accidently finds out through Choe Sang-bae about a large amount of gold nuggets Japanese soldiers left behind, O kills many of his colleagues to take all the gold to himself. In the end, a neckless beauty among the dead shows up and takes her revenge on him.
