I Caught a Glimpse of You

Sibilla, a radio reporter, travels to a small town in central Italy to make an audio documentary. There, in 1982, a young woman had been killed, in an act of apparently inexplicable violence. Through voices and sounds, Sibilla evokes the ghosts of a past event, recording the last reverberations of the victim’s memory.

Following the death of his parents, a man remains in the family house. There, he reveals to his son his late father’s journal, a record of the family’s life after the destruction of their village. As they flip through its pages for the first time, the family’s history unfolds, and together they summon his father’s spirit.

An uncovered archive recounts my childhood through sketches, scribbles, and a forgotten love poem.
