Returning home from overseas, a man learns that his neglected wife has been unfaithful. Anguish follows a divorcee's romantic fling. Having had sex with no one but his wife in his entire life, a man attempts to sow some belated wild oats. A young girl considering abortion is horrified by the filthy illegal back-door 'clinics' that are her only option.

Domo Arigato

A young college student and a former G.I. on his way home from a tour in Viet Nam meet in Japan and decide to explore the country together.

Christmas Eve

Story of a well-to-do elderly woman, who befriends the homeless and volunteers her time with children, who learns she has an incurable illness and wants desperately to reunite her three grown grand children (who are scattered across the U.S. living their own lives), with their estranged father, her son. She hires a private detective to search for them so as to try to get everyone together on Christmas Eve.

Five

The film's storyline involves five survivors, one woman and four men, of an atomic bomb disaster. The five come together at a remote, isolated hillside house, where they try to figure out how to survive.

On Our Merry Way

Oliver Pease gets a dose of courage from his wife Martha and tricks the editor of the paper (where he writes lost pet notices) into assigning him the day's roving question. Martha suggests, "Has a little child ever changed your life?" Oliver gets answers from two slow-talking musicians, an actress whose roles usually feature a sarong, and an itinerant cardsharp. In each case the "little child" is hardly innocent: in the first, a local auto mechanic's "baby" turns out to be fully developed as a woman and a musician; in the second, a spoiled child star learns kindness; in the third, the family of a lost brat doesn't want him returned. And Oliver, what becomes of him?
