This discord fractures the once-unified family. Adding to the chaos, the Tokyo Four Society, which had been held together by Gunji’s absolute leadership, falls into disarray. Shinjuku descends once more into a lawless battlefield of feuding yakuza factions. Just as he passes away, former 12th generation underling, Hideyoshi Ogami (Norimasa Fujie), is released after serving a long prison sentence.
