A writer dying of AIDS searches for a cure and human interaction in the hospitals and sex clubs of Buenos Aires.

Ariel, a transmedia screenwriter, returns from Spain to Rosario, his hometown, to investigate the strange case of dog suicides in a park by the river. Upon his return, he reconnects with his past, where he encounters, among others, Laura, the woman he loved, and José María, his best friend and Laura's husband. These will be intense days, filled with contradictions, misunderstandings, and tensions that will push everyone to the brink of irrationality.

Evocative and lyrical, On Each Side follows the interconnected lives of several characters who are affected by the building of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge in Argentina - a gargantuan, modern undertaking that links two Argentinean cities. On Each Side is the story of a bridge that not only traverses a river but spans the traditional and the modern, the past and the future.

Angel lives with his mother and has homosexual inclinations. One day he meets Mirna, a prostitute who has a son. The three try to form a strange family.
