The story is about two aliens who came to Earth in search of their friend William, locked in the lantern of a security guard of a local recreation center.

Vova is a young man. He is unable to find a common language with his family, because he believes that the whole world around him is just a fuss and a flurry. Being late for his younger brother's birthday, he finally quarrels with his family. Coming to the girl's aid in a street fight, Vova receives a blow that sends him into the world that Vladimir has been building so hard around himself. Are beliefs worth living?

Katya and Pasha are a Moscow student couple in their early twenties. They don't care about politics or authorities. They aren't really rebellious, they just want to be left alone and have fun. One day they come to a punk concert at a small club, but two rogue policemen stop the show in the middle of it - there are no formal grounds to do that, but the policemen just enjoy their power. Katya tries to reason with one of the officers, but he reacts in a brutal way, and Pasha has to defend her. Katya and Pasha escape and they hope they're safe. But in Russia, you shouldn't mess with the police, and next morning, the young people learn that they are in trouble. Their only way out is to pay the policemen off, and they embark on a mission of getting the cash - borrowing, begging, doing whatever they can. And they only have several hours to come up with the cash.

In the measured and quiet everyday life of Tanya, Sergei, who was late for the Moscow train, appears. The world of a small station town with ancient temples opens up to him. He becomes imbued with Tanya’s church chants and learns the history of her family, traumatized by the loss. A new life begins for the girl in agonizing anticipation of meetings accompanied by the sound of the wheels of passing trains.

The first century of one of the most famous Moscow scenes has come to its logical conclusion. Now the theater is looking into the future, into a new century, but what does it see there?
