A poor couple waits in vain for a child. The desperate man asks hell itself for help, and the devils grant his wish. Nine months later, the couple gives birth to a son named Nesyta. When he grows up, he sets out into the world. He is not afraid of work and offers help wherever he can, but he discourages everyone with his insatiability. Eventually, he enters the service of the devil himself...

The thrilling story begins in 1318, during the reign of John of Luxembourg, when the Czech nobility rebelled against the king. However, the lord of Zlenice, Oldřich of Zlenice, did not join the resistance. He summoned the surrounding nobles to his castle for negotiations... and in the morning he was found dead. He had been murdered in his chamber, which was locked from the inside!

She goes there to pick herbs, which she uses to heal people's little and big aches and pains. Andulka is a fearless girl. Her boyfriend, the musician Vítek, on the other hand, is quite a coward. He loves Andulka very much, but he is afraid to marry her and move in with her. He is afraid of the forest, whose mysterious thickets are surely home to goblins and perhaps even witches.

This romantic fairy tale is based on a story by German writer Theodor Storm. It tells the story of two young children, Kristian and Elke, who, thanks to their bravery and honesty, manage to overcome the Fire Lord, the evil Iris, to free the Rain Fairy and save the whole Earth from drought and thirst.
