Nagabonar

Nagabonar is a pickpocket. During the withdrawal of the Japanese occupying forces from Indonesia in 1945 he declares himself a general of the Liberation Forces. Soon a mask becomes his true self, and he becomes a true soldier and patriot.

Nagabonar Becomes 2

In this sequel to Nagabonar (1986), the now old Nagabonar was asked to live with Bonaga, his foreign educated son, for a while in Jakarta. This was an effort by Bonaga to ask Nagabonar's permission to turn the family palm plantation into a resort. This outraged Nagabonar since the family cemetery was in the plantation. Distraught, he left his son's house and got himself lost in Jakarta.

Musang Berjanggut

The King of Parun becomes angry at his adopted son, Tun Utama, who turns down every princess as his future fiancée. So his Majesty orders Tun Utama to find his own choice of a girl. If that fails, he will be severely punished. Tun Utama then returns with a beautiful princess, Siri Syarifah. The beauty of Siri Syarifah captivates even the King himself. They all try to find a trick to separate them. The King pretends to be sick and can be cured only after eating the liver of a bearded weasel. Tun Utama is assigned to find the animal that doesn’t exist. During the absence of Tun Utama, Siri Syarifah remains faithful. She does not react to the persuasions from the King. When Tun Utama fails to accomplish the mission and would end up beheaded, Syarifah manages to save her lover by bringing the bearded weasel in a trunk, hidden inside is a man, a member of the royal family in the palace of Parun.

Eddy, a bank security guard was successfully shackled by Liona, a former prostitute. He divorced his wife, followed Liona's lifestyle, got into debt everywhere until finally robbing bank customers due to being caught in many difficulties.

Noni, for the sake of her love for Tono, was willing to sacrifice everything, including running away from home and becoming a prostitute at Tono's request. After being pregnant for the third time, Shinta has to undergo another operation. After this, Shinta becomes frigid. Norman, her husband, then finds himself a girlfriend, Yulia, a colleague. Shinta divorces him and she leaves with her two children to brave Jakarta’s city life. Norman then comes to his senses and tries to look for his wife and children. He manages to find her in a very poor and weak condition before she dies.

Something Beautiful

Director Wim Umboh experiments again and the first third of the movie is filled with a series of images almost without dialogue relating the work of brothers, Johanes and Leo Mokodompis.

Those Who Fall at Men’s Feet

Parmin is always rejected by his wife, Sinta, when he wants to have sex. Sinta was traumatized by her half-sister and stepfather, so she married Parmin to cover up her pregnancy. Sinta falls into a lesbian relationship with Sumiyati, who is a lesbian because all her sisters are women, and her relationships with men are strictly monitored by her parents. Sumiyati already has another girlfriend, Novita, a wife who has a husband with another sexual disorder: sadism. Sumiyati was "raped" by her sister-in-law, and started to have feelings for men, especially when she also played with Parmin, instead of introducing Sinta to Novita. Sum also then falls in love with young man Arman. Sinta-Novita's relationship didn't last long, because her husband, who was abroad, returned home. Sinta speeds off using Novita's gift car and dies.

Parista's household relationship with his wife Rindayu, experienced problems because his wife often had miscarriages. After knowing the cause, because of rough sex, Parista was able to restrain herself. When Rindayu was pregnant, Rindayu found out that her husband was having an affair, Rindayu was determined to kill her husband's lover.

Yudi has just got out of jail but Bono and the gang force him to commit another crime. Unlike the others in the gang who spend their money for fun right away, Yudi saves his money in the bank. He then meets Sari and starts changing his life. Bono and the gang are mad when they find out about it and they kidnap Sari’s sister. Then Yudi has to fight them and they all die, including Yudi.

Dr. Karmila

Karmila (Tanty Josepha), a final year student at the Faculty of Medicine, is engaged to Edo (Rudy Salam) who is studying abroad. In a youth party, Karmila is trapped by Feisal (Robby Sugara), a bad boy who then rapes her. Karmila is willing to marry Feisal on the condition that after the baby is born and old enough, he will divorce. She stayed with her aunt until she gave birth and was curt, not taking care of the baby. Meanwhile, Feisal has the opposite attitude because he is sorry and loves Karmila. The son then followed his father and Karmila continued his studies until the end. During a party to go abroad, Karmila was told that her child was sick. Karmila comes to check. Her heart melted, and she canceled her abroad and chose to be a good wife for Feisal, so she had two children. He refused Edo who returned from abroad.
