A daughter sets out to find out the truth about the man who was her father, a legendary musician, who died when she was 8 years old. He is Antonio Flores, and she the also famous actress Alba Flores. Alba stopped singing when she lost Antonio and is now determined to recover her voice and her background, asking family members and friends for the first time.

"Ferida arrel MMM" is a collective film around the figure of the Catalan poet Maria Mercè Marçal composed by filmmakers of different generations who deep into her life and work with the intention of reflect the construction of female identity. But isn't just a simple tribute to Mercè, is also a mirror in which the directors experience their own reflection from Marçal views and proposals. A poet, translator, teacher, feminist, intellectual, mother... crossed in the mirror for multiple (re) construct a genealogy of women in pictures. A mirror identified as a woman and artist who talks about motherhood, language, female body, memory, popular tradition, nature, art, lesbian love, disease, death.

A memory exercise, a crystalized moment in time that captures poetic and existential quotidian gestures. A journey into a world of estrangement in which nothing is what it seems, yet it gives way to the vision of a better future after the storm. A work that begins with a sequence of correspondences in the distance to gradually become an essay that reflects on the perception of time, confinement, the impact of man on nature and the very act of filmmaking.

The Saharawi women face the thirst of the hamada, the curse of the desert, every day. They’ve built their refuge in a land where no one could survive before. For more than forty years they’ve been holding out and taking care of their people there. They ensure every drop of water is distributed according to the needs of each family … and they wait. But there’s an even more terrible thirst in their throats, for which they find no relief.

Paloma Pujol, footbag world champion, is the only female freestyler in Spain. She’s 31 years old and knows that soon her body will not respond to the demands of this sport. But she can’t retire without knowing that other girls are following her steps.
