The MTV Europe Music Awards "(EMA)" were established in 1994 by MTV Networks Europe to celebrate the most popular music videos in Europe. Originally beginning as an alternative to the American MTV Video Music Awards, the MTV Europe Music Awards is today a popular celebration of what MTV viewers consider the best in music. On tour promoting their 2002 studio album ‘A Rush of Blood to the Head’, English pop rock band Coldplay performs a live show at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia in July 2003.

The show, recorded at London's magnificent Royal Albert Hall, is Bill's own hilarious and irreverent guide to the sounds, styles, and instruments of the orchestra, with a wide and eclectic range of subjects, including music for '70s cop shows, sci-fi films, horror movies, news themes, plus some of Bill's own songs re-imagined for an orchestra, and including Anne's own specially written new works.

The first show was recorded on MTV Unplugged in 94' during the promotion of her second album, Debut, and the second show was recorded on MTV Live in 98' for the promotion of her fourth album Homogenic. A cover of the track "My Funny Valentine" was performed on the MTV Unplugged performance but is not included on this DVD. Fans were disappointed to find that both shows appear on the DVD as originally broadcast, with tracks cut short to fit into the syndicated slot. However, a fuller audio version of the MTV Unplugged performance appears on the Debut Live Box disc. The DVD was re-released in 2003 to fix synchronisation problems, and to change the audio from mono to stereo on the MTV Unplugged part.

Korn Live: The Encounter is a live release by Korn in 2010 to promote the studio album Korn III: Remember Who You Are. It premiered on Sunday July 11, 2010 on HDNet, and then streamed on the band's Myspace profile. Although a live performance piece, the concert itself has no audience beyond production crew. In July a number of viral videos were released by the band, the first two videos included amateur footage of crop circles and unidentified flying objects, while the second two videos included news footage of the phenomenons identifying its location as Kern County. The Korn logo could also be seen in one of the crop circles. On July 7 the band announced "Korn Live: The Encounter, A Concert for Korn III: Remember Who You Are" a live concert filmed June 24 at the crop circles. The unusual setting for the concert was inspired by Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii concert.
