A Movie Man

Through the second half of the 1960's the Beat movement and the first National Rock were the flagship of the youth, leaders as never before of a society in transformation. The formation of the first bands, the venues for concerts, the difficulties to sing rock in Spanish and interact with other artists create new ways to communicate previously unavailable. This documentary presents the story of these first pioneers of the Argentinean rock music.

A group of friends in their 30's meet at a bar in Buenos Aires everyday. They used to hang here as students, laughing at the world, and now they still dream of changing the world from the cafe's table. Unable discuss politics or football, the only thing they can talk about is women. When one of their friends commits suicide, a female from his past shows up to confront old feelings.

The incredible life story of a man who overcame his sorrows and anguish is captured in the documentary. Such was his determination to live and his innate talent that the forces of fate could not resist him. He became a respected figure in the world of jazz, one everyone wanted in their band.
