The Permanent Picture

In a town in rural southern Spain, Antonia, a teenage mother, disappears in the middle of the night, leaving her baby behind. Fifty years later in Barcelona, Carmen, an introverted casting director, is looking for people to share their experiences of arriving in a new city. In her search, Carmen meets Antonia, an impulsive woman who intrudes into her loneliness. Who says that time heals all wounds?

The Cottage

Rudi and Silvia, with their children Martín, Federico and Silvina, escape from the city to spend a few days in their country house. Rudi gets into arguments with the neighborhood landlord. Children wander around the area. Martín likes fire. Fede is scared. One day, the abandoned house in the background suffers an unexpected fire and a dead person appears: a homeless man suffocated by the smoke. The children did something. Something horrible. Now, we will have to see a way to return to the desired calm.

The Accused

Dolores lived the life of a higher-class student until her best friend was found brutally murdered. Two years later, she’s the only indicted suspect for a crime that attracts a lot of media attention and has placed her in the center of the public eye. Dolores spends her days preparing for the trial, secluded in her house as her parents work as a team ready to do anything to defend their daughter. The best lawyer is not enough, they obsessively control around her: how she looks, what she does, eats and who she sees. But as the trial moves forward and pressure grows, suspicion and secrets emerge within the family. Cornered, increasingly isolated and just when any mistake could prove disastrous, Dolores puts the entire strategy at risk.

Perpetuating the system, the insult, the abuse, or refusing to take part in it.

Tigre

After a long period of absence, Rina returns to her island deep in the Tigre river Delta. There she spent a large part of her life and raised her son. Now she wants to recover her home and return there with Facundo, who also left the island. Both, mother and son, will learn that nothing is like it was. Machines on the river are about to destroy everything. A girl is lost in the forest. The water is rising.
