Three girls in Paris is the story of three Danish girls (Ghita Nørby, Susse Wold and Hanne Borchsenius) traveling to Paris, but after having placed suitcase and money on the hotel and takes off in the city, they forget what it's called and where it is located. They are helped by a Parisian taxi driver, and meets a series of typical French.

Hilleborg always speaks negatively about her king's marriage to his left hand, Countess Danner. The attic of a city house is the home to a colony of artists. Among them is a writer, whose corpus is larger than her output. We also meet a hard-of-hearing poet who can still hear the grass growing. There's a painter, a sculptor and more. All are penniless - hoping that one day they will experience their breakthrough. "The Seventh Heaven", as the corridor is called, also houses two prominent residents, Fyrtårnet and Bivognen. They have set up a small diner and engage lively with the artist from the colony.

Hans and Elinor are in love, but have to meet clandestinely to avoid the keen eyes of the headmistress at the home for girls where Elinor lives. When they are discovered, they seek refuge in a Chinese gazebo used by the vagabonds Pat and Patachon as a cheap summer residence. However, the two vagabonds quickly vacate the premises to let the young couple stay there. As a thank you, Hans, who is a sailor, enrols Long and Short as part of the crew on his rich uncle’s boat and invites the entire girls’ institute and its headmistress on a sailing trip. In disguise, Hans hopes to spend some time with Elinor, but once again they fail to deceive the headmistress. Long and Short now come upon the idea of hiring a brickworks, whose owner turns out to be Elinor’s uncle. The orphaned sisters Annie, Karin, Grace, Irene and Maud return home to Denmark, where they make a living from their musical talents. After some time in Copenhagen, they decide to contact their only relative, an eccentric landowner. But not everyone is happy about the five sisters' arrival on the estate, and when the lord decides to play gardener in order to better look after the five, there is no shortage of complications.

In 1801, the composer Weyse's cousin, the cheerful Henriette Frisch, advised her cousin to take in some student boarders in the house, so that he would not have to provide so much musical information, but could have more time to compose. The young folk singer Peter Jespersen has returned from abroad and is now without a contract. He approaches director Andresen of the Alhambra Theatre, but is rejected, and Peter understands from the conversation that it will be important for him to get an impresario who can take care of the business for him. He approaches the theatre agents Bang and Mathisen, whose motto is: "If you have the talent, we will get you the contract".

By coincidence, Pat and Patachon are cast for the lead roles in a major film production. It quickly turns out that the odd couple doesn't fit in to just any plot, and especially Patachon's helpless attempts to play prince charming are testing the director's patience. (stumfilm.dk)

At the Central Theatre in the chorus girls' cloakroom, the girls have a very lively discussion: The ever-recurring topic - their various male acquaintances. The only one who doesn't join in the joke is the pretty Mette Madsen. She thinks her friends are frivolous and stupid. Oda Holm, who is a very pretty girl, full of sex appeal, claims that Mette, who is also an excellent chairwoman of the chorus girls' organization, is completely devoid of "Oomph". She is incapable of exerting any attraction on men. It becomes too much for Mette.

Under the leadership of the authoritative Mrs. Emma, a mediocre theater troupe tours the remote corners of the province. Despite miserable conditions and internal squabbles, the actors keep their spirits up, but for how long?

Honor, morality and the "right" outlook on life are paramount. And these concepts were by no means something to be made fun of, which can be somewhat annoying when you remember that this film is based on the English play "Bank Holiday", which took a good English fart on virtues and morality. Inger Holst is a nursing student who, at a party, meets the unreal Jørgen Frandsen, who invites her to a "festive night" one weekend at a hotel in Tisvilde. However, a tragic incident occurs at the hospital where she works. The incident involves the young widower, engineer Berg, whom she has come to know as a fine, real and sympathetic person. Inger's compassion makes her offer to give up her weekend trip and stay with him.

The young successful author Eva Saabye surprises both her publisher William Nerup and the literary critic Dr. Hennings, who is a good friend of hers, by not wanting to publish the last book she has written. One day Eva takes the manuscript for her novel out of the drawer, and as she starts leafing through it, we are drawn into its plot. The book, titled "I Met a Murderer", has Eva Saabye as one of the main characters.

The film shows Kronborg as it must have looked to Shakespeare when he visited the castle, if indeed he did, three centuries ago. The filmmakers run with the idea of Shakespeare visiting Hamlet’s Castle and give it filmic expression. The past returns as King Frederik II and his court gather…
