Circumstances force him to stay much longer than he expected. Here he meets Klava, who works in the apiary. And far from being on official business, the engineer remains on the collective farm.

1935. Two families — Davydov's with three children and the newlyweds Lida and Dmitri Kashirin's — enter the new house on the outskirts of Moscow into a common communal apartment. Tractor driver Matvey Morozov returns to his native village from the prison. And he recalls the story of his marriage, his fatal love, failed betrayal and committed reckless “crime”, in which he doesn't repent at all.

In the taiga village, where everyone is in sight, almost unbelievable happens — a local store is robbed. One of the rafters of the forest is recognized as a hacker, but some inconsistencies haunt the young precinct Vasily Seryozhkin.

The heroes of the film are first-graders Snezhana and Alyosha Seroglazov, who received the nickname "TwoBriefcases" because of his small stature on the first day of attending school, as well as a small puppy Kysh.

Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".
