Remek Wróbel is a mailman and an enthusiastic member of an amateur football team. He’s pushing on forty, living the life of a bachelor. One day, everything changes – his neat, tidy life is turned upside down by the appearance of Grandpa, whom he hadn’t met before, and his new chatty neighbour, Marzenka.

Wojciech, who does not feel the ubiquitous joyful atmosphere, meets someone who changes his holiday plans. In turn, Karina and Szczepan get embroiled in a fight for an inheritance that may divide even their loved ones. They will see if the only thing that comes out well with the family is in the photos.

Mareczek takes Mamusia from a little allotment house in the outskirts where she has been spending the nights recently. It’s too cold for her to stay there. They set out to the city together with Koleś, a stray dog. They had both lost their flat due to the brutal policy of the city authorities and now they keep going from one shelter to the next. The plot is a series of unfortunate events happening to unremarkable characters. The father of the main character, Sigismund, unexpectedly decides to marry an unknown, mysterious woman. Shortly after this event, he loses all his money, and his son, Andrew, decides to get it back by abducting a suspicious girl, with whom he immediately falls in love. In addition, Sigismund has to face his wife's relentless admirer, and the whole, already tense enough family situation is complicated by the affair of his adult daughter. In addition, the plot is enriched by Jan Frycz in the role of a doctor who is not indifferent to the charms of his sexy nurse, an attractive student with a head full of crazy ideas, the head of a gas station, whose refueling has become a habit, as well as many unusual characters.
