The story of a woman returning from a labor camp. She is looking for a person, on whose denunciation she was arrested, in order to take revenge on him, but having completed her judgment, she realizes that revenge is meaningless.

Kindergarten teacher Evgeniy Ivanovich Troshkin is reluctantly sent undercover to take the place of an imprisoned thief who stole Alexander the Great's helmet. A musical ensemble of Romanian students dreams of being selected for a competition in Sochi, Russia. They hear rumors that a Russian ship with a festival talent scout will be arriving in the port of Constanta. The band sets up for a performance at the harbor, in hopes of attracting the scout’s attention immediately upon arrival. A case of mistaken identity leads to a series of complications involving a suitcase, two small-time gangsters, a blonde tourist, and the band’s drummer. This attempt at a plot conforms of course to the conventions of romantic musical comedies, resulting in a film full of song and dance. With memorable song titles like “Yes, I am an umbrella” and “Let’s play my guitar”, this Romanian-Soviet co-production is as silly as it is irresistible.

The film follows the fate of the Strogov peasant family. The story takes place in Western Siberia in the late 1940s.

Also, they have to find out who murdered Larisa Gruzdeva. Zheglov believes it was her husband Ivan Gruzdev, but Sharapov has his doubts about it...

This detective story begins with an article in Ogonyok magazine about Soviet naval officers who were awarded the highest British award, the Order of the Star of the Sea, during World War II. After reading the article, the young heroine of the film named Olga, a resident of a small seaside town, realizes that one of these orders is kept on the mezzanine of her modest apartment, in a shoe box.

Grekov, the chief engineer of the instrument—making plant, is looking for a way out of the difficult situation at the plant: suppliers fail - they have to resort to assault, technology is disrupted, and quality suffers. The Institute of Production Management Problems, to which Grekov is seeking help, suggests introducing a new, as yet untested automated control system at the plant. Grekov agrees, although his colleagues, as one, believe that he chose the wrong time for this.
