MovieDocumentary
The story of Bob Monkhouse, one of Britain's most successful entertainers, who enjoyed a stellar career that included comedy writing, appearing in films, presenting on television and hosting radio shows. He's perhaps still best known as the king of the game shows, having hosted over a dozen different formats in his career, from The Golden Shot and Family Fortunes to Bob's Full House and Wipeout. But his first and enduring love was his work as an accomplished stand-up comedian, and his was a career devoted to making audiences laugh. We focus on Bob's work as a stand-up comedian: he was a consummate professional, with each joke in every performance meticulously prepared. Despite the many changes in style and taste in comedy during his lifetime, Monkhouse always managed to adapt his material and performance technique, moving with the times and so remaining popular with audiences throughout his long career.

Series
Comic Relief Does Fame Academy is a spin-off of the original Fame Academy show where celebrities sing as students of the Academy. The programme was launched in 2003 to help raise money for the charities supported by Comic Relief, with the final of the show occurring on Red Nose Day. Coverage of the show was widely shown on BBC One, BBC Three, BBC Prime and the CBBC Channel. Many consider the celebrity version of the show to be far more successful than its predecessor. The Comic Relief series returned in 2005 and again in March 2007. It was announced by the BBC that Cat Deeley would not return because she was hosting So You Think You Can Dance. However, Patrick Kielty returned with co-host and host of the former spin-off show Claudia Winkleman.

Headcases was an ITV satirical animation show based on current affairs. It employed the same satirical style as Spitting Image, 2DTV and Bo' Selecta! but using 3D animation created by UK Visual Effects and animation house Red Vision. Red Vision evolved a series of unique production techniques and a sophisticated animation pipeline to deliver the weekly topical elements of the series to hitherto impossible deadlines. The programme's first series began on 6 April 2008, with weekly episodes until 11 May 2008, airing on Sundays at 10 pm. A seventh episode was televised on Friday, 30 May at 10:30 pm, and an eighth at 10 pm on Sunday, 15 June. The show included celebrities, politicians and members of the British Royal Family in their animated form, taking a role in sketches including scenarios from their own topical issues. The show's name comes from the fact that all the subjects' caricatured faces are out of scale with the rest of their bodies.
