A school teacher visits the home of a boy who's been absent from school for a long period of time, unaware of the horrific tragedy which occurred in the boy's household many years ago.

Following the events of Ju-on: The Beginning of the End, Mai, the older sister of elementary schoolteacher Yui Shono, goes to look for her sister, who disappeared after a year while working in an elementary school. Mai soon discovers the Teriyaki household who tells her about what happened to her sister. Mai will now uncover the dark secrets of Ju-on and will try to end the curse once and for all.

Nito, while leading a life that looks like the picture of happiness and being the envy of everyone, is charged with the murder of his wife and young child. At his trial, he reveals a shocking motive for the crime: “I wanted space for books.”

Four renowned Japanese directors each adapt a supernatural short story by Japanese literary masters for the KAIDAN HORROR CLASSICS omnibus series. In his adaptation of Yasunari Kawabata's THE ARM, Masayuki Ochiai reveals the inner world of fetishists in an eerily unsettling tale of a man who convinces a woman to let him borrow her arm for a night. Meanwhile, Shinya Tsukamoto explores death and unrequited love in Osamu Dazai's THE WHISTLER, about a woman who spies on her dying sister's secret love life after her own romance is dashed by her father. After VILLAIN, Lee Sang-Il looks at social outcasts once again in Ryunosuke Akutagawa's THE NOSE. The story follows a priest with a hideous nose who kills a young local boy in a moment of blinding anger. Meanwhile, Hirokazu Kore-eda creates a gentler ghost tale with Saisei Muro's THE DAYS AFTER, about a married couple who thinks the young boy who visits their house daily may be the ghost of their dead infant son.

Utagawa Kotoha is a bright 25-year-old woman. She is sometimes timid, but she is also a curious person. Through her friend's introduction, Kotoha Utagawa moves to apartment #7 in an apartment building exclusively for women. There, she gets involved with weird phenomenons. She happens to meet Nakame Reishi. He introduces himself as a psychic, but he doesn’t have psychic abilities. This is in spite of Reishi Nakame's grandmother being an itako (blind women who are trained to become a spiritual medium). His aunt Iwato Shima is also the head of a Shinto shrine. Kotoha Utagawa and Reishi Nakame ask Shima Iwato to perform an exorcism.

The drama has Okada playing the part of Shiba Kengo, a pure-hearted young surgeon who is dedicated to his work. He gets transferred from a prestigious university hospital to a financially troubled hospital, but there he meets a capable and cool-headed chief nurse named Kasugai Yuka (Nakatani), who teaches him the reality of the medical world. The pure Kengo must face various obstacles and challenges as he tears off the “masks” of respected professionals – doctors, nurses, and educators – and uncovers their true natures.

Natsumi's (Hikaru Takahashi) younger sister Haru passes away because a disease. She was just 19. Natsumi loved her younger sister a lot. Meanwhile, Haru was engaged to Togo. Togo comes from a distinguished family, who runs a large company. His parents care about pedigree a lot and suggests to Natsumi that she should now date Togo. Natsumi turns down their request, but Toho accepts his parents request to date Natsumi. Suddenly, Natsumi asks Togo to take her to places where he took her younger sister. Togo is surprised by her request, but he begins to take Natsumi around. Natsumi soon becomes attracted to Togo, but she feels a sense of guilt for her feelings.

Lady cop (Asano Atsuko) and team leader (Katori Shingo) are lovers and they solve major crimes together, targeting psychos. One day, the team leader suddenly became a criminal as well

The film tells the story of Aya, a woman suffering from congenital heart disease who has inherited a vast fortune. She marries the seemingly gentle and considerate Haruki, only to find herself trapped in a nightmare of his brutal abuse and humiliation. Pushed to her breaking point, she eventually kills Haruki and carefully stages his death as an accident. However, her relief is short-lived, as chilling supernatural events begin to haunt the house in the wake of the crime.
