The hotel is captured by terrorists. For the main characters begins a real hunt. The only hope for salvation is the ex-husband of a journalist. Only now, the recently separated spouses have a tough and insoluble conflict. Now the fate of the heroes is in the hands of the one who always dreamed of revenge.

Watson gives Holmes boxing lessons. Watson himself is an experienced boxer, able to deal with several opponents with his bare hands. In addition, he is an excellent marksman. Considering Holmes a genius, the doctor decides to tell the whole world about his talent and the mysteries he revealed in his stories, where he often embellishes the events («the true story» of which the series presents). Watson is taught to embellish events by the editor-in-chief of the «Morning Chronicle».

Intelligence officer Viktor Bystroletov arrives in one of the countries of the oil basin under the guise of an international journalist. His goal is to establish contact with a former terrorist named Javad. It has been several years since Javad retired and disappeared in an unknown direction…

In the past, Soviet prima ballerina and now world-renowned choreographer Ruta Myers returns to the country after almost 40 years to stage a performance at the country's main ballet theater. Ruta is forced to rebuild relationships with friends and enemies, who have become key people in the Russian ballet over the past time, but most importantly — with the artistic director of the theater Andrei Pronin and his family. They were once a couple, and now old feelings and old resentments flare up with renewed vigor. A lot of money, ambitions, and a career are at stake — Ruta, despite all her efforts, finds herself in the epicenter of passions and intrigues very far from the world of art.

The film is set in 1957. The plot centers on mysterious crimes taking place in a small town, which are being investigated by policeman Balakhnin and KGB officer Mitin.
