A group of frustrated youngsters kidnap the famous Malayalam actor Prem Nazir from his film shooting set. Shockwaves are felt across Kerala and it soon becomes the one thing that everyone's talking about. The film is a satire that discusses how the society deals with this news and the events that follow.

Sankar Mohan (Master Sujith) is a spoilt child of a wealthy widower Mr. Varma (Ummer). Fed up about having to change schools multiple times due to his behaviour, Mr. Varma appoints a teacher Lathika (Menaka) to homeschool Sankar. The duo get along well; but eventually the child starts getting possessive about Lathika. Meanwhile Lathika starts falling for Sankar's swimming coach (Mammootty) who is a playboy much to the chagrin of Shankar.

Poornima is a popular woman who has many suitors. However, when she is found dead in a place she had visited the night before, Jayaraj, her admirer, gets arrested for the crime.

Prince (Mohanlal) is a race car driver and the son of industrialist Bharathan Menon(K. P. Ummer) and Sreedevi Menon (Sukumari). A married man has an affair with a married woman in this woman's house. When the woman's husband unexpectedly shows up with a bottle of acid, which he plans to throw on his wife's face, disfiguring her for life. The woman's lover quickly responds by taking out a gun and shooting at the bottle of acid, which is smashed and lands on the husband's face, disfiguring him. The man then shoots the husband, until he is dead. Both the woman and the man, bury the dead, disfigured body, and go about their respective tasks, not knowing that they have unleashed an unstoppable evil force that will spring forth to bring death and destruction to the man, his brothers, and his wife.

The film is a travel movie which revolves around two characters, Abirami (Archana) and Rahul (Rohit) and plots the happenings in the life of the protagonists from morning to evening on that particular day.
