The young mechanic Borge Rasmussen works in Salling Harbour and lives with the slightly older Marinus Frederiksen, who chairs the city's port workers. Marinus sees in Borge, who has lost his parents, his only friend and is easily influenced by his extremist views.

A woman, Ilse Brehmer, finds the body of a dead man, a journalist. He has been murdered, and later when the body turns up in the harbor, the woman denies everything, even though witnesses has seen her nearby the crime scene. She simply can’t remember anything, but the detective on the case, Mørck, knows how to smell a lie and soon start to unravel this bloody mess.

In other words, if you had the chance to pocket 20,000 Danish kroner, tax-free? Wouldn't you be tempted? The main character in this film is tempted. He is a taxi driver and has a happy family life, but he is struggling financially.

Adaptation of the classic Danish Christmas story about Nikolaj, a student, and his two older brothers, who are spending their vacation with the kind pastor's family in Nøddebo. Nikolaj is very interested in the pastor's daughters, Emmy and Andrea Margrethe, but it is his brothers who end up getting engaged to the girls.

Among the residents of the boarding house on Fredhvilevej are Børge Blom, a civil servant, the feisty Nelly Smith, and taxi driver Ib Nielsen. Because their house is to be demolished to make way for a parking lot, they are given 14 days' notice to vacate. It cannot be said that the two actors Kurt Karlsen and Valdemar Hansen are particularly successful. The audience often has to ask them to stop, and financially things are not going well either, so they have to flee from their hotel bills. In a provincial town, Professor Andersen has just died, and when the two actors arrive in town at the same time, they are mistaken for the professor and his assistant and are given accommodation at one of the town's hotels as guests of honor. Then events take a turn for the worse. A bank director, a lawyer, and a contractor are very eager to see the late professor's invention continued, as the formula was lost when the professor died. Who will win in the end? The suspicious businessmen, the two actors, or two young people who love each other? And how many times will bank assistant Johansen lose his job?

An American gangster nicknamed "English Joe" has fled across the Mexican border with his gang, consisting of four men in addition to himself. The American police are after them because of a bank robbery in which they killed several of the bank's employees. But "English Joe" soon comes up with a new plan that can bring them to safety for a while and at the same time give them the opportunity for a new coup. An old engineer who has worked at a weapons factory in Mexico has traveled home to his own country to complete an epoch-making invention: the silent machine gun. The men are ordered to Denmark, where the old engineer now lives.

Ditte is born out of wedlock and lives as a young girl with her old beloved grandmother. As an illegitimate child she is teased in school and more than anything in the world she wants a father. When steady - utterly reliable - herring dealer Lars Petter shows up and tells her that he is marrying Ditte's mother, the little girl is very happy. Now Ditte must take care of three new sisters and brothers but gets nothing but complaints from her ungrateful, selfish mother. But the little girl finds consolation and support in both her sisters and brothers and Lars Petter.

An episodic film with six different stories that are more or less interwoven. A married couple is celebrating their 19th wedding anniversary. The wife wants a chest of drawers. During a trip to the countryside, they pass by the place where the chest of drawers is sold. Dr. Gregersen's wife is pregnant. Meanwhile, the doctor has bought an expensive typewriter. The doctor advertises the typewriter for sale through his friend, and the buyer is none other than the doctor's wife. A couple wants a bigger apartment, they argue and break up. Later, we meet them again, where they have both found work through an advertisement with a rich man as a housekeeper and a driver. A woman wants to sell a pram because she is going to the hospital. Her little son is to be looked after by her sister. The couple who cannot have children have just adopted the little boy's sister and now come to buy the pram.

Here is the film that all travel-loving Danes should see—and nod in recognition at all the funny episodes that arise when very different Danes go on vacation to Munich, Tyrol, Rome, and Venice with the dream of the adventure trip of a lifetime. The group is a festive mix: some perpetually dissatisfied, the always happy, young and old, single and a couple of womanisers, etc.

The family Gyldenkål is actually called Iversen, but have changed their name, after numerous problems with the IRS, loan sharks and employers. Using clever scams, the family builds up a reputation as a wealthy and respectable part of society.

In 1801, the composer Weyse's cousin, the cheerful Henriette Frisch, advised her cousin to take in some student boarders in the house, so that he would not have to provide so much musical information, but could have more time to compose. The result, however, was that Weyse had to take on even more students to feed the boarders, and it was particularly bad with the gifted student Kramer, whose wealthy uncle would not send any more money.

The series follows the residents of an apartment building on Copenhagen's Christianshavn, as they go about their daily lives and challenges. There is Olsen, a mover with an old fashion view of the world, Clausen who runs the local pet shop, Egon the career focused assistant, their wives who work hard to keep their spouses lives together, the young couple Tue and Rikke who recently moved in, the hard working caretaker Meyer, who never puts in to much effort, and of course Emma, the innkeeper of Rottehullet, where all the important decisions are made while running up the bar tab. The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.
