Harue shields Shizuka but is gunned down by ex-Shindo-gumi member Yokoyama. Her death pushes Munakata to form his own group, and Mukai entrusts him with his dream of “conquering Japan from Yokohama.” Meanwhile, rumors of Munakata’s new organization reach the Hachio-kai. In Kyoto, Sawamura and allies move to settle a scandal tied to their associate Horita, but are ambushed by Gudokai, leaving Murata injured again. Elsewhere, Yamaoka visits Yokohama, seeking Toyokai’s help to eliminate Onda.

This special takes place three years after the end of the original series. Makoto is homeless as a result of his mom selling out their shop and soon becomes involved in a ‘bone smasher’ case, in which someone puts homeless people to sleep and breaks their bones.

During a meeting of the Toranishi-kai, led by Onda, news breaks that Shindo-gumi boss Yamaoka has been shot. Inside Shindo-gumi, the hunt for the culprit begins. Growing suspicious of Onda, Hayasaka pressures Onda’s ally, the Hanaoka-gumi, to leak information about Toranishi-kai.

After closing the small factory he inherited from his father, Teru finds himself abandoned by his wife and child. Having lost his purpose in life, he scrapes by doing day labor when he reunites with Hiroshi, who remains as innocent as ever. Sky High is a live-action, supernatural Japanese television drama series, starring actress and model, Yumiko Shaku. It aired in Japan, first run, from 2003 to 2004, and was popular enough to spawn the 2003 feature film of the same name. Both are based on the Japanese manga, Skyhigh. Shaku stars as Izuko, the Guardian of the Gate to the afterlife. The basic premise of the television series is somewhat similar in concept to the American series, Ghost Whisperer, in which the protagonist must use her powers to guide the dead on their journey to the afterlife by helping them determine the meaning or circumstance of their death. However, in Izuko's case, no matter how hard she tries, her guidance does not always result in a happy ending.
