Mechanical Gods' War Gigantic Formula, also known as Apo Mekhanes Theos Gigantic Formula, is a Japanese anime series that aired in Japan. The show was first aired April 4, 2007 by TV Tokyo, and ended its run on September 26, 2007. A manga adaptation by Shōhei Oka was serialized concurrently in Dengeki Daioh.

In the “Immortal Grand Prix,” two teams of three IG machines, high-tech humanoid mechs driven by humans, race at speeds greater than 400km/h. The teams make three laps of a 60 km course while intercepting the opponent as they vie for a first place finish. Jotaro Kujo is a popular high school student – at least until that day when he thinks he is possessed by a ghost, which is why he locks himself up. During a fight between his grandfather and his grandfather’s friend Muhammad Abdul, he notices that the ghost is his “Stand”, named "Star Platinium", his fighting aura. Later, his mother also gets such a “Stand” and thus falls ill. Jotaro learns that a man named Dio Brando, who was defeated by Jotaro’s great-great-grandfather a hundred years ago, is to blame. He joins his grandfather and Abdul to destroy Dio once and for all.

The DigiDestined go up against Diaboromon again. Tai and Matt head back to the Internet to deal with him with Omnimon, while the younger Chosen Children go to deal with the rampage of a swarm of Kuramon (Diaboromon's Fresh form). With the help of Angemon and Angewomon (with T.K. and Kari), Omnimon was able to destroy Diaboromon again, but it turned out to be a trap, as his destruction allowed many more Kuramon to go to the Real World. Things go out of control when the Kuramon in the Real World merge to create a Mega level called Armageddemon, an alternate Mega in Diaboromon's evolutionary line. It is so powerful that neither Omnimon nor Imperialdramon were able to defeat it on their own.
