My Best Friend is the outrageous story of two men, friends since childhood, who have spent their lives tormenting one another. As events unfold another deception, one concealed by both men's wives, opens the door to incredible erotic intrigue.

"Everything will be fine" the doctor promised Jo while she was giving birth to her first child. But, some forty years and four sons later, nothing is happening like it should be during this month of August: as she arrives on Greek soil to organize her traditional festival with her tribe, Jo learns that the latter has been cancelled, courtesy of the economic crisis. A failed poet discovers that his mother has marketed him as a local "Pythia," bringing in customers at night to listen to his recitation. At first he gets angry, but then he decides to take control of the business, leading the whole thing to a total disaster.

When Nondas, a shady 50-year-old nightclub operator, rescues the despairing Alkiviadis, tied to train tracks after endless debts and a loveless marriage, he impulsively drags him along on his own road trip to find the mother of Persephone, the baby burdened upon him by an ex.

Achilleas' wife, Flora, is disappointed by her marriage and remembers nostalgia for her childhood love, Alekos. Fate brings them so they eventually reunite illegally. Alekos's wife, however, Soso understands the illegal relationship and tries to avenge her husband for his infidelity. A series of incredible "crimes" unfolds with our heroes victims.
