ක්‍රිකට් සාදු (Cricket Sadu) is a 2026 Sinhala drama directed by Dilshara Jayamanna, starring Priyantha Sirikumara, Dinakshie Priyasad, and Damithu Fernando. It is a heartwarming story that follows a gifted young boy named Nuwan and a compassionate young monk as they navigate childhood, faith, and the social pressures of playing cricket.

Dr. Nawariyan (Dr. නවරියන්) is a 2017 Sri Lankan Sinhala action, comedy film directed by Ranjan Ramanayake and produced by Ranjan himself with Flash Entertainment. It stars Ranjan Ramanayake and Ruwangi Rathnayake in lead roles along with Rex Kodippili, Sriyani Amarasena and Sarath Chandrasiri. The film has influenced by 2003 Bollywood film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Dedunu Akase is a 2017 Sri Lankan Sinhala romantic film directed by Priyantha Colombage and produced by EAP Network Swarnavahini Production. It stars Hemal Ranasinghe in the lead role, along with newcomers Chulakshi Ranatunga and Shanel Fernando, both professional models. The music was composed by Chitral Somapala. It is the 1288th Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Supporting actor Dasun Nishan committed suicide on 27 September 2017, prior to the screening of the film.[8][9] The muhurath ceremony was held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo.[10] The film has received both positive and negative reviews from critics.[11]

A 1985 Sri Lankan drama directed by Sarath Gunaratne. The film features performances by Douglas Ranasinghe and Sriyani Amarasena. Ideally noted for its visual style, the film won the award for Best Black and White Cinematography at the 14th Sarasaviya Awards, alongside an award for Best Female Playback Singer.

Dr. Sarath (Tony Ranasinghe) domineers over his timid wife Vineetha (Sriyani Amarasena).
