On the eve of the Israeli attack on Egypt in 1956, Israel declares martial law in all the occupied Arab territories without any previous notice. When the villagers of Kafr Kassem returned home from the fields, they were butchered and killed in what is known today as the massacre of “Kafr Kassem”.

A young girl searches for a suitable job to support herself and her sick mother, and finally gets a modest job as a nurse in a clinic. A love story develops between her and the doctor whose clinic she works in. The doctor deceives her, she makes a mistake with him, and he refuses to marry her.

The story of a family consisting of a father who is about to retire, his wife who works as a seamstress, and their four children who are in various grades of school, shedding light on the challenges that each of them faces.

Set in a traditional Damascene neighborhood, the story follows—in a comedic way—the protagonist's quest to find the woman he loved but never confessed his feelings to over forty years ago, after he begins seeing her in his dreams every day.

The series examines the concerns of college students and the daily and existential problems they face, in addition to addressing the effect the internet, especially Facebook, has on modern life and relationships.
