Five shorts reveal a fictional Hong Kong in 2025, depicting a dystopian city where residents and activists face crackdowns under iron-fisted rule.

Heung Wing has been sensitive to paranormal activity and keeps seeing ghosts since he was a kid. One day, Heung Wing receives news that his mother is in coma after committing suicide, which forces him to return to the old home. Everything seems strange and weird.

The documentary was built upon the material used in its previous installment (to be continued, 46 minutes). It disproves the notion of a passive Hong Kong in a chronicle of a generation poised for massive social change.

The immensely likeable and talented trio of actors shines in this poignant and heartwarming tale on how children find strength in each other.

Chung Lui Society is a boxing gym founded by former legendary Muay Thai champion Chung Lui, who is dedicated to training professional fighters. Despite the gym's struggles, he remains committed to his lifelong philosophy of never backing down from a challenge. Businesswoman Elsa discovers that her boyfriend Daniel is cheating on her with Macau's female champion, Surewin. Driven by her competitive spirit, Elsa vows to settle their score in the ring. Upon learning that Surewin was Lui’s former student, Elsa seeks him out to train her.

A phone call takes two young men a trip down the memory lane. Two boys and one girl, a classic teenage love triangle. Being best friends, Chung has always been the humble guardian angel for the young couple Yao and Shan. “My virginity will only be dedicated to the one I love” is the motto of Chung. The three remains close friends when they grow up, until the death of Shan breaks the harmonious relationship among them.

A short film with dialogue for Eason Chan's Mandarin song "Don't Mind Me" 社交恐懼癌 (from his most recent album "Chin Up"), which was produced as an extended backstory for the music video. The Chinese title literally translates as "social anxiety cancer". Starring Eason Chan himself, along with a guest appearance from Tony Leung Chiu-Wai.

Pak-kiu works as a gaffer while waiting for his first break in front of the camera. An inviting target of ridicule, he remains unwavering that he will rise above the sordid realities of the glamorous world of film-making with his determination to be a proper actor rather than a star. So when he is offered a bit part as a cancer patient in a new film, he jumps at the chance to practise method acting, literally getting into his character and inhabiting him through claiming membership of a support group, which reunites him with an old classmate. However, the reunion, shrouded in a façade of altruistic motive, leaves him ill-prepared for a role in real life that is not so easily dismissed as a character in the script...

A story of two female secondary students, one with spasmophemia and the other dyslexia, getting into troubles when they try to seek self-identity through online business at the moral edge.

This is the first referendum held in Hong Kong and probably the last. Some people want to grasp the chance to directly participate in the democratic process. They try in various ways to push for greater democracy in society so that the people can become emancipated.

A young girl who believes that the world will end in 2012 lives only for the present. Working in a bookstore, she spends her days on menial day-to-day tasks and sitting on a roof to anticipate the end of all things. One day, the bookstore owner tells the young girl that she can do more than just simply wait. In a world where the future appears bleak and hopeless, should we prepare for a painless end, or it possible for us to stand up and make a change?

Music is the common language that draws people together. Johann Bach’s Goldberg Variations brings the two lonely and unrelated people in the film - an inconspicuous mid-aged man Joe and a once popular actress Shu closer. A subtle and occasional encounter takes place in the remote country side where Joe is the night shift storekeeper and Shu goes to the area for shooting. When Joe plays this particular work of Bach, Shu is touched and shares with him her miserable life experiences. He feels that there is a bonding between them until he attempts to explore more into this illusive “relationship”.

Set in Hong Kong, Eya is a shy teen who takes writing as a way to escape alienation, bullying and loneliness. On the school fun day Eya remains silent in the interview, but she is not the only one who finds life is too hard to bear. Everything is changed that morning.

After all, nothing anyone does ever seem to make any difference. With the quick deterioration of freedom in Hong Kong, how much longer can the old man choose to stay silent before the oppression becomes too much? Amidst the noises from all sides, which side should we listen to, or should we simply stay apathetic and block out the noise altogether?

"The more difficulties you suffer, the more you need to change and overcome." A shadow of his former self, Siu-ho is a tattooist who works for the triad and put tattoos on betrayers as punishment. His best friend Tyson, a fighter past his prime of life, also succumbs to reality and works on a job which he detests. As both of them experience a desperate period in their lives, they try to remind themselves the pursuit of life through the pain of tattooing and fighting. Fame and glory are not their goals, but feeling alive is. With too many forces in the city threatening to dash their dreams, will they succeed in forging ahead?

Hung, a 40-year-old security guard of a commercial building, lives in a cramped sub-divided flat with his wife, Ping, a part-time waitress in a Cha Chaan Teng, and son, Pak Yin. Amidst all the struggles for affordable accommodation, Hung never succumbs and hopes they will eventually move into a public housing unit. Yet, the lives of three get even rougher when Ping finds herself pregnant while they are being forced to leave but unable to find a new flat. Meanwhile, Pak Yin chooses to endure silently for the sake of his parents. Trapped in such a vicious cycle, are love and companionship the way to resolve?

They are frozen in place, stagnating without any direction. Around them, things change rapidly.

On 6th March 2011, 113 protesters in Hong Kong were arrested for "Unlawful Assembly" after they stormed the traffic lanes of Central during a demonstration against the budget proposal. Protesters were placed in the canteen of the police station for questioning in groups due to inadequate rooms. Three protesters and three police officers, six people with different political views sitting around the table. The copy machine is out of order; it's going to be a long night. So they started chatting.

In our daydreams, we always dream about who we can be and what we can do. Chak is always living between his dream state – where he is admired and can get any girl he wants – and the reality – where he is constantly teased by his sexually frustrated, foul-mouthed friends. One day, Chak's dream becomes reality when he finds the acceptance of a girl he likes, but cruel reality eventually stops him once more. Instead of running away, Chak must face the real world head-on this time around.
