A swindler and dancer plans to steal the necklace of the artist Sabah by making an Ad for an international band roaming the East to get to her. Hassan is drawn to the Ad and claims to know Sabah so he join the band.

Wajih Bey (Abdul Salam al-Nabulsi) is a very rich man who has everything, but he lacks happiness. His assistants try to make him happy in any way by bringing in great singers (Fahad Ballan - Najah Salam - Sabah) or dancing parties. He goes out to the street dressed as a Roman, so he is suspected of his mental faculties and imprisoned in a prison. So he hopes for poverty for the sake of happiness. He lavishes his assistant's fiancé, Amal Al-Faqir, with money and appoints him with him in the company. He meets Suhair, and and she changes his life.

Hamam is a poor Arabic language teacher who gets sacked from a girls' elementary school for not being able to control mischievous students. He feels pessimistic about everything in life,but his freind,an employee working for a pasha finds him a job as a private teacher for his only daughter Laila in order to help her pass an exam. Laila treats Hamam like a friend and helps him to appreciate life and enjoy its qualities,and the man soon is drawn to her.

(Sabah), the famous singer, agrees that her daughter (Howaida) will travel to Cairo in one of the nightclubs. Howaida meets (Sherif) and loves him, the sheriff tells his father Hassan that he wants to marry Howaida, the father denounces his son's behavior, as he had previously stood against his brother (Ali )’s marriage to Howaida's mother and still lives memories of his love for her, Sharif finds no way but To tell his uncle of his tragedy, he encourages him to continue to love and preserve him and win the heart of the one he loves.

Khurshid tries to marry Bahigha, the daughter Arfy Pasha, who rejects the idea of their marriage for the difference in their social status. Khurshid is able to cause the Pasha to fall into a financial crisis which leads him to have a severe heart attack.
