From Tashkent to Bukhara go on excursion in the holidays of the pioneers, selected from the best, but for two pioneers Shahir and Vitka this trip is primarily an opportunity to find the treasures of the last Emir of Bukhara, who hid them when the troops of the Red Army approached the city, and the Emir realized that he could not hold Bukhara. In Bukhara our friends are already waiting for their accomplices, the same pioneers Anvar and Gulka, who have a map of the alleged place of the hidden treasures. Upon arriving in Bukhara, the four treasure hunters begin their search for the treasure, finding themselves in funny and absurd situations.

The events in the film revolve around the children's railway. Young railway workers have to confront the hooligan actions of a group of teenagers. One of them, Kamil, detained after another attack on an empty railway station, gets acquainted with her boss, Tahir Usmanovich, and young railway workers. Having met with their sympathy, a good attitude towards himself, Camil overestimated his actions and brought his friends to the children's railway.

The film tells the story of Anzirat, an elderly woman who lives in a small village in Soviet Uzbekistan with her son, daughter-in-law, and their ten children, all boys. Because of her strictness the villagers call Anzirat "Grandma-General". Back in the 1930s, Anzirat headed the main farm of the village and went through many hardships. Even when she gets old, Anzirat does not want to rest and cannot put up with the laziness, greed, and negligence of some of the villagers. She tries to put things in order for her family. Her son, however, instead of helping his pregnant wife spends all his spare time building a family football team. Only after Anzirat's death do the residents of the village realize how empty their village is without her. They feel that Anzirat was the conscience of their village.

The film takes place in 1927 in Uzbekistan. A group of Central Investigation officers has been sent from Moscow to Tashkent to assist the local police in the fight against banditry. At the same time, they participate in the fight against the remnants of the Basmachi and the White Guard underground.

Old Husan Ata has been waiting for a meeting with his son all through the war, hoping and believing that he is alive. He hasn't received any letters for a year now. Every day, an old man goes to the railway station, where trains arrive from the front, hoping to learn something about his Mansur. One day, a funeral arrives, but the postman Gulyam does not dare to convey this sad news to a friend. The young man Haidarali, who helped Husan Ata in the search, finally seeks to be sent to the front. And then the old man starts receiving letters. The war is over, and the letters are still coming. In them, the son informs that he got married and had a child. A father goes to visit his son in distant Riga. Here he is met by Haidarali and his son Mansur, who has been sending letters all this time to support the old man.
