A chance meeting of a cleaner from Ukraine and a former star of the Polish music scene leads them to record a joint song about love.

After a forty-year marriage, Helena announces her intention to pursue sexual experiences with other men, much to the shock of her husband Paweł. Despite raising three wonderful children, a romantic life that was fulfilling and financial comfort, Helena feels restless and longs for more.

Second half of the 1970s. A few teenagers from the town of Ustrzyki Dolne, led by a charismatic and undisciplined student of the local school, Siczka, decided to become punks and get into punk rock and start a band called KSU.

A trio of lonely outsiders - a Russian knife-thrower, a prostitute and an accordeon player - establish a moving circus troupe.
