One day, two unsuccessful rock musicians, Ede and Zaki, come across a competition. To commemorate the anniversary of the Institute for the Blind, they have to write a musical piece for the blind. Since there are no other candidates, they get the job. In two nights they put the piece together. However to their great disappointment, they find that they also have to teach the blind kids to perform it, if they want to get the money. Unwillingly they are submerged into the world of the blind; just like the spectator. While Zaki works on the musical in a studio, Ede starts rehearsing with the blind youths. A strange competition starts among the blind girls. They all fall in love with Ede, and the blonde Edith makes up her mind to approach him. But he fails as a director. He has no idea how to handle these people, so he soon gives up. However...

The love of Zsuzsika and Jóska is presented through the "lightning and veil-soft" emotions of the director, László Vitézy's television adaptation. After The Legend of Hortobágy (Komorló) and The Sky Bird, this is the third film made by László Vitézy based on the writings of Zsigmond Móricz.

A Hortobágy legendája

The film weaves together three stories from Hortobágy. It takes a sacred approach to the honesty, fallibility, stubbornness and deep emotions of the ancient people of Hortobágy. The director was inspired by Zsigmond Móricz's short story "Komor Ló" and the writer's realistic yet mystical vision to film two other stories told by the people of the Hortobágy, set in 1945 and after the communist coup.

Young, Dumb and Full of Love

At the end‐of‐year assembly, Tibor and two friends are browsing Lady Sandra’s website on a computer when the school radio announces he’s flunked history, dashing his plans for a Croatian holiday, parties and picking up girls. Instead, he’s sent to his father’s Flamingó Hotel in Balatonfüred to cram for the makeup exam. Gábor Báthory was the ruler of Principality of Transylvania from 1608 to 1613. The infamous Elisabeth Báthory was his relative. The young Báthory is daring handsome and the idol of women, and triumphantly acquires the throne of Transylvania. The young ruler is the hope of the Transylvanian people, who have long suffered from wars. However, the ambitious Báthory pursues glory. He turns into a deranged tyrant, his best friend, the wise Gábor Bethlen, also becomes his mortal enemy and infuriates the neighboring great powers. Huge armies of the Ottomans, Wallachians, Poles, Hungarians and Cossacks attack Transylvania because of Báthory's adventurism.
