The nature of form is to hide the object rather than define it, and the nature of light is to conceal substance rather than to delineate.

A travel film.

Study of the fragment, the word, the written word... some are in French, others in Greek, without translation. For those who do not understand Greek, magic of the unknown, word-drawing, form in itself. The beauty of the texts means that they do not need images. It is not an illustrative film, it is a film about the fragment that reveals itself... reappears... a film based on the superimposition of images... a film in perpetual motion, nothing stops... It is a film about the sensuality which emerges from the poems... images of a moving matter where fantasies can slip in. It is a film about the poetry of love, the violence of passions, the tears... Sappho tender and violent, philosopher and poet... Sappho who comes back to us, present, beyond the 2700 years that separate us.

A nod to Germaine Dulac. I filmed brass discs with camera movements. The discs deform and create new shapes; sometimes they glimpse each other, overlapping to create abstract forms. The sound is computer-generated.

Graphic film. Intersecting lines. An exploration of visibility, some sequences are barely perceptible, disappear, then reappear. Lines, ruptures, erasures... But a set of lines moving together can also create a ballet. A film to sit back and watch time pass... and time has its own rhythm... suspended time... seconds of eternity.

There are four of them, they were enthusiastic about the idea of ​​diverting images from salvage films - each one worked on different sequences; the whole put end to end gives a film full of graphic richness, freshness and humor.
