The wise hunter Mekhelecheen, living in harmony with nature, is concerned about his grandson Mishuk. To pass on ancient knowledge to his grandson, his grandfather takes him into the dense forest. However, the journey turns into unexpected trials: Mishuk and his faithful dog, Sergekh, become lost in the forest. In despair, they encounter a magical deer—the guardian of the taiga—who grants the boy the amazing ability to understand the language of all living things. Together with his grandfather, he fights poachers to save the Spirit of the Taiga.

Nykus, driven by feelings for Kiluk, is ready to take extreme measures. Fate leads them to a long-abandoned hut that holds a secret from Khabiy's past.

This is a film about love for oneself, for a spouse and for the motherland, about the difficulties of gender dominance in modern society, about the search for oneself and a better life, and the realization that the environment determines a person, but a person has the right to choose this environment.
